USNU Negotiation 16 February 2010
 
We have reached agreement on Access, bulletin board postings, new hire orientation, layoff notice, perdiem utilization and peer review.  We clarified low census language.
 
Management presented its economic proposal.  We discussed the wellness proposal. We will be looking at the economics, healthcare and retirement and give a return proposal at our next meeting.
 
Team meeting Monday the 22nd and Negotiations March 5th.  We have extended the contract to March 5th.

Please call your legislators today in support of the House Version of Bill #3024 that is going tothe Senate.  This bill supports uninterrupted meals and Breaks for healthCare workers

 

 

 

 

Negotiation Update 12 Feb 2010.
 
The Union submitted a proposal to Management covering access to the Hospital and employee orientation; Per diem nurses access to healthcare; Union input into the evaluatio
program; wages which included ways to compensate for retirement program losses, a possible productivity bonus; clarifying low census issues and retired nurses access to Health Care.
 
We also discussed Health Insurance and Hospitals Wellness Program Proposal.
 
Next Meeting Tuesday February 16th.

February 4th 2010 PSPH USNU Negotiations

All Day Negotiating Session

Discussion of language in Work Schedules, Low Census, and FMLA.  We have reached Tentative Agreement on the roster, a combined Nurse Practice and Staffing Committee and recognition for Past experience, and the addendum to add 12/4 (6/2) Night schedule to the Contract.

The Negotiating  Team is preparing a proposal on economics, retirement and Health Care issues for our next meeting February 12th.
